We will continue to offer private sessions for those who prefer on Zoom, and all group mat classes will remain on Zoom. Please take review our guidelines. We ask all clients visiting the studio to understand the measures we have taken and agree to participate in our safety plan.

Reopening Plan

Pilates Garage Guidelines are in compliance with New York State Gov and CDC requirements for Covid safety in a Pilates studio space.

What we are doing to insure a safe and sanitized environment

All private sessions are contact free

Teachers and clients will remain 6 feet apart or more as to follow the CDC guidelines.

We will only book two teachers/two clients in the space at a time. That teacher will stagger appointments so that clients do not have to cross paths. Should a client arrive early, they will be asked to wait outside. Mask wearing covering mouth and nose will be required at all times while in studio by teacher and client.

Upon arrival client will do the following:

Client will have a temperature check with scanner distance thermometer mounted to the wall. If you have a temperature you will be asked to leave. A normal temperature is 98.6. A client who’s temperature is 99 or higher will be asked to leave. Once your temperature is confirmed normal, you will be requested to wash your hands with antibacterial soap and water.

Temperature check and Wash hands

Client will be given a short wavier to fill out with their contact information for contact tracing. You will be asked to confirm you are symptom free of Covid and have not traveled in the last two weeks by plane or traveled out of state to a high-risk state. We ask clients who have traveled out of state recently to have their next session on Zoom.

Client to sign a special waiver

Please bring few belongings and bring your own water bottle. We ask clients to not eat in the studio and only take a small sip of water when needed to ensure the mask is on while in the studio for the duration of session. You may bring your own towel or mat if you wish.

What to bring

All payments will be made electronically  from client’s home computer or personal device outside the studio. This will ensure less contact and easier transition time between appointments.
